April 30 – The Erin McCallum Band 2016 Tour Kickoff!

It’s Erin McCallum and her band coming to Hamilton for Saturday Nite Blues at Jet Hall.  Erin McCallum is known for her powerful bluesy voice and along with her knock-out band, this is one of those must-attend concerts of the year.

After last year’s successful release of the It’s Time cd, this is the kick-off to the band’s summer tour.   Along with smoking  guitarist Brian George Harrison, the Erin McCallum band delivers the rockin blues that’ll have you bopping on the dance floor.

This is the band’s only appearance in Hamilton this summer, so make sure you don’t miss it.

April 23 – Joel Johnson Band – Live CD Recording

Joel1Do you want to be a part of a live CD recording?

Joel Johnson, one of Canada’s most electrifying guitarists, hits the stage at Jet Hall for Saturday Nite Blues.  And this time, Joel is recording the performance for a live CD release.  Be part of the audience as Joel rips through some great blues tunes and lays them down for future listening.

Joel has won a Canadian Aboriginal Music Award for best blues album of the year and was nominated for best new blues artist at Canada’s Maple Blues Awards.  If you like power blues, this is an experience you just can’t miss.

April 16 – The Pappy Johns Band

PappyIf you’re ready for what’s been called, “Fabulously Bad-ass Blues” then Jet Hall is the place to be when the Pappy Johns Band takes the stage on April 16th.

The Pappy Johns Band is a 6-time Canadian Aboriginal Music Award Winner and JUNO nominated blues band.

They’ve represented the Grand River Blues Society at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis and have played every major music festival around.   Led by vocalist/guitarist  Joshua Arden Miller, this 4 piece blues band of experienced musicians will rock the dance floor with smokin’ hot blues tunes.

TG AND THE SWAMPBUSTERS will invade The Jet Hall for Saturday Nite Blues on March 26th.

With a gritty, powerful voice,  guitar slinger Tim Gibbons and the Swampbusters will bring you  an evening of funky, swampy blues.  Following the release of their latest cd, Swamptooth Comb, the group has captured a loyal following in Hamilton and you’ll want to join the action.  They’re working on a new cd and maybe, just maybe, we’ll hear some of their new tunes.

March 12 – Andre Bisson Blues Salute to the Beatles

ANDREHailing from Hamilton, Andre Bisson brings a very special show to Jet Hall.   Following the w ildly successful cd release party for his sixth cd, Left With The Blues, Andre and his award- winning band of talented musicians will be bringing you a Blues Salute to the Beatles.

This past summer Andre Bisson was honoured to play at The Cavern Club in Liverpool for Beatle Week.  Andre accepted the challenge of arranging classical Beatle tunes into his own special brand of blues.  The show was a huge success at the Cavern and he’s bringing it to Saturday Nite Blues. It promises to be a night of classic Beatlemania Bluesmania.
